Autumn Light

scintillating Autumn light
a tapestry of leaves
turning golden

lonely hearts
not afraid to love again
no matter how hard they have fallen

Dear friends, I love Autumn light the way it shines through leaves, it's magical. I took these pictures when the sun was setting, casting a warm glow on the trees. This scenery inspired a very short poem--perhaps I'm at a loss of words in the sight of such beauty! xx

  8. How I adore "lonely hearts not afraid to love again, no matter how hard they have fallen." How beautiful - and original, to see autumn leaves this way. I find the fall colours spectacular, as well.

  11. Never fear a loss of words when fewer allows natural falling leaves to speak so beautifully.
