Violet Rain

violet rain
keeps on falling

~reflecting~

the universe within
each droplet

petal by petal
softly

~unfolding~

even raindrops
have a purpose

~renewing~

bringing forth
a new beginning

~ ~ ~

It's been raining nonstop all day and the snow is melting.
No violets yet but they will be here soon!

  2. It's extremely hot over here in Philippines then few days back we had rain & that's really renewing. Hope the violets will appear soon & the snow will melt gracefully for the opening of the new season. Thank you for the refreshing words I have read today in here. Smiles.

  4. Lovely and peaceful.

Winter, a season hopefully wrapped up for the year, allowing the next to unfold, with each droplet of rain, may the mounds of snow disappear, to make way for the puddles of spring.

  5. Raindrops are much undervalued. They do so much good, sustain ours and all lives, settle the dust even and make us feel so much better when they fall on our heads...that's if you like singing in the rain!

  6. Wonderful to see the snow melting, isn't it? I really wouldn't mind non stop rain for a while here to wash all of the dirty piles of snow away. I like the idea of a universe within each droplet. Each droplet is so small, but contains so much meaning.

  14. Bellissimi versi per una immagine suggestiva, cara Loredana. Ieri ho visto le prime violette, piccole piccole, sotto le foglie morte...il primo segno di primavera, la stagione più bella da attendere tra tutte, quella del risveglio. Abbraccio, buona settimana senza pioggia!!! Rita

  15. The little fellow I spent the weekend with told me proudly that "rain brings the spring!" I love your universe within a raindrop. Raindrops are indeed life-giving.
