Oh the things that I do for photography. We got over a foot of snow this weekend, so I decided to go on the rooftop to take some photos. This is my view from the roof in my hometown of Pleasantville, New York. I love it when the sun comes out after it snows and the snow looks so bright and shiny. The sky is always so clear and blue the next day.
There are rolling hills and pretty houses in the distance.
It snowed pretty deeply over the hills among pine and birch trees.
Here is another rooftop view from a different angle.
A little red house nestled among snowy pines.
OK, time to get down from the roof and enjoy the street view.
Later, I went for a ride to the Pleasantville icy pond as the sun was setting.
Brr ... but so pretty.
I felt like drawing a heart in the snow ... just because ...
Enjoy!
