why dream of tomorrow
when happiness
is already within my reach now
if i could just be still
and take it all in
i could finally see, wow
the infinite wisdom
in the tiny center
of a flower
the grace
of a butterfly
fluttering her wings
the miracle
of another sunrise
the sky lit up at sunset
my footprints
in the sand
moving forward
leaving behind
the perplexities of the past
i am present at last
It looks like a space ship has landed in New York City! There is a wonderful new sculpture at Madison Square Park, created by the artist, Leo Villareal.
It is a 30-feet tall illuminated sculpture that keeps changing colors, based on concepts of geometry and mathematical relationships. Or is it magic?
I was mesmerized by looking at the ever changing colors as I was taking the pictures.
After this amazing light show, well, I feel ... enlightened!
Enjoy my poem and photographs!

Yes, so right. When we are in the moment there is nothing to leave and nothing to move toward - all is perfect as it is.
