Red Cottage

We have been back from vacation for a week now, but I still seem to be reminiscing the sights and colors of New England. I particularly enjoyed the little cottages and pretty flowers everywhere. Red seemed to be a predominant color, so here are some photographs of my favorite spots. Above is a red cottage with a lovely garden.

Here is a close-up shot of the garden. Hibiscus flowers are so big!

There are also pretty containers of flowers everywhere. This lovely blue container with red geraniums and the bistro table and chairs were in front of a bed and breakfast.

There are also lots of marine themes as in this interesting anchor by the flower container.

Biking is very popular along with boating. I loved this row of bikes parked nearby a restaurant with a display of lovely window boxes. Enjoy the bright and colorful scenes!

  2. We just recently returned from a week in Vermont. Thank you for refreshing the wonderful sensory memories of a place that feels both settled and wild.

I love the continuity that red brings to your photos. The red bicycle is especially effective in carrying the theme.

Looks as though you had a wonderful time!
