Morning Dew

morning dew
like gentle tears
renewing--
I forgive
and the sun shines
once more
~ ~ ~

I have been photographing this flower for a few days trying to capture different moments. The first image looks almost melancholic with the dew drops on the flower; yet the flower seems to be reaching outward. The second image is on a sunny day and is brighter and happier. I absolutely love this peachy color. This week's topic at Poetry Jam is "forgiveness." To me, forgiving is healing, just like this flower has experienced, it can bring sunshine again after the rain. Please visit http://poetryjaam.blogspot.com/ for more poems on this theme. Thank you for letting me share my poem and photos with you.

  1. Beautiful photo. So true: Just the act of forgiveness can sometimes lighten one's mood and change one's 'dreary' perspective.
