Blissfully Yours

on a rainy day--
sunlit tulip memory,
blissfully within

~ ~ ~

It's been raining for the last few days, and I was just thinking that, despite outside circumstances, happiness really comes from within. Regardless of what happens in life, I can approach it with a smile and a blissful heart, in the knowledge that the sunshine is just around the corner. Tulips will blossom again, metaphorically and literally speaking!

I'm sharing my haiku with Haiku Heights at http://haiku-heights.blogspot.com/, where today's prompt is Bliss; and my photograph with  Blueberry Craft and Hobby Time at http://blueberrycraftandhobbytime.blogspot.com/, for Favourite Photo Monday.

Have a blissful week!

Buona settimana! :)

  15. I like your photo and haiku and its metaphorical meaning. Weather-wise, I don’t dislike rain. Rain keeps nature fresh and green and I like the pattering sound or smell of falling rain mingled with that of soil and leaves.

    1. Thank you, Yoko. Yes, rain has a purpose, too. "For every time, there is a season" Glad you liked the metaphor! :)
