Open Up

 Open Up

Unlock the door
of your mind
Open the window
of your imagination
There are no limits
but those you impose
on yourself

I have just discovered another wonderful site, called Creative Exchange, you can find at  http://www.the-creative-exchange.com/, where bloggers share their beautiful photographs. I took these pictures of a closed door and a closed window to create a sharp contrast with my poem. I chose red because it transcends positive energy and passion breaking through. I'm also linking my post to Poetry Jam at http://poetryjaam.blogspot.com/. The topic of this week's jam was "inner and outer limits," which inspired my poem, Open Up. Don't ever give up on your dreams.

    1. Thanks, Janaki! That is actually a picture of the Church door in NY where I got married. The window is somewhere in Southern Italy on a little narrow street. :)

    1. Thanks, Lisa! I'm so happy to have found your site! Great photos and nice technical tips, too. Glad you like the door. I decided to go with a close-up to show the architectural details better. :)
